If you've never snorkeled at night before, you're missing out on a truly magical experience.
Even though we don't recommend going snorkeling alone at night, these trips, which are led by our Ocean Stories team, are a safe and educational way to see what life is like on a coral reef at night.
After each guest receives an underwater flashlight, the group goes snorkeling shortly after sunset.
A fascinating alternate world awaits after sunset. Enjoy spellbinding snorkeling excursions as reef experts guide you through our astonishing diversity of nocturnal marine life and underwater scenery under the illumination of fluorescent light sticks. Meet Soldierfish and Squirrelfish with big eyes, scavenger mollusks and crustaceans, lobster, lions fish, octopus, bizarre sea stars, and normally shy moray eels as they venture into the dark in search of food. Plankton that have been modified to have the wonderful quality of bio-luminescence emerge from the dark depths to provide an ethereal experience.
