The breadfruit or Bambukeyo

One million tourists arrive in the Maldives this year.

  On AirAsia flight FD 175, a Thai woman became the one millionth visitor to the Maldives. Amornvivat arrived in the Maldives at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday. Amornvivat is on vacation in the Maldives with her family. She is staying at the picturesque Niyama Private Islands Maldives resort in Dhaalu Atoll. She has been to the Maldives three times. The first occurred during her honeymoon. A special event was held at the airport by the Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation (MMPRC) and the Tourism Ministry to mark her arrival as a significant milestone.
