Over 70,000 visitors from China have arrived.

  According to the Ministry of Tourism's statistics, more than 70,000 tourists from China have arrived in the country. The most recent report shows that Chinese tourists make up the largest portion of total tourist arrivals this year, accounting for 10.9% of the overall figure. Up until April 9, there have been 71,136 visitors from China. Following China, Russia, the United Kingdom, Italy, and other countries have also contributed significantly to the number of tourists, with 65,898, 65,731, and 60,709 arrivals, respectively. Additionally, the statistical data indicates a notable increase in the overall number of tourist arrivals, reaching a total of 650,404 visits so far. This represents a 13.6% growth compared to the same period last year when the country received 572,748 tourists. On average, the Maldives welcomes around 6,265 tourists daily, and these visitors typically spend approximately 8 days during their stay. The Male' City has welcomed its eighth cruise ship

The Male' City has welcomed its eighth cruise ship, which set sail from Italy and has now docked outside the city. Maya also disclosed that three additional cruise ships are expected to arrive this April. 📷 secret paradies  The cruise vessel arrived at Male' port at approximately 06:30hrs on Monday morning, having journeyed from Malaysia. Earlier, MS. Aidabella docked at Male' port in November 2023, accommodating 2008 passengers and 600 crew members.

Maldivian, the national airline of Maldives, has recently unveiled a new throughfare service. This innovative offering enables passengers to seamlessly connect domestic routes within the Maldives archipelago to various international destinations, such as Dhaka, Bangalore, and Colombo.  By introducing this service, travelers now have the convenience of booking both their domestic and international flights as part of a single itinerary. This not only simplifies the entire travel process but also eliminates the hassle of purchasing separate tickets for each leg of the journey. In addition to its through fare service, Maldivian also provides passengers with additional advantages. These advantages encompass a discount of up to five percent on fares, along with a luggage allowance for check-in bags on the domestic leg that corresponds to their baggage allowance for international flights. In the future, the airline intends to enhance its throughfare service by including Trivandrum and Cochin.
